Value note: Because the pass lasts four days, a trip of three days or more costs far less per day than single-day mountain parks elsewhere.

Time slots: Tickets are released by morning and afternoon session. In peak season the morning session sells out 2—3 days in advance — fix this date first.

Capacity note: The bridge is booked in limited time slots; same-day tickets are rarely available on holidays. Consider carefully if you have acrophobia, heart conditions or high blood pressure.

Real-name booking in four steps
- Choose park, date and time slot — Tianmen Mountain and the Glass Bridge require a specific session.
- Enter real-name details — Chinese ID for residents, passport number for international visitors; one ticket per ID per day.
- Pay online — WeChat Pay, Alipay or major bank cards; confirm your card works for Chinese merchants in advance.
- Enter the park — Present the original ID or passport, or scan your QR code at the turnstile.
Ticketing questions
What if I lose my ticket or forget my ID?
Parks require the person and document to match. For a lost Chinese ID, obtain a temporary proof of identity from the station or park police office. International visitors should carry the physical passport — photos on a phone are generally not accepted.
Can I buy tickets at the gate?
Most parks keep ticket windows, but for time-slotted parks (Tianmen Mountain, Glass Bridge) on-site availability is very limited in peak season. Book online in advance.
Are tickets refundable?
Unused tickets can usually be refunded online before the booked slot; combo and discounted tickets may have special rules. After the slot or after entry, refunds are normally not possible — check your platform's terms.
Are child discounts based on age or height?
Most parks now use age, with height as a secondary check: free under 14, half price from 14 to 18. Bring the original ID or household register.
How do international visitors pay and enter?
Register with your passport number and bring the passport itself; turnstiles support passport and facial recognition. Arrange a payment method accepted in China, or book through a travel agency or your hotel.
What happens if bad weather closes a cableway?
When parks close for weather or other force majeure, full refunds or free rebooking are normally offered. Keep your order screenshot and contact the original booking channel.
